New SW tool that automates the realization of railway catenary laying

The main objective of the project is to develop a SW tool that automates the staking out of a railway catenary laying.

The ARIA project proposes to address the challenges of promoting the railroad as the backbone of national transport and sustainable mobility policies. This project is part of the business R&D support program HAZITEK 2023, co-financed by the SPRI group, the Basque Government and the European Union through the ERDF Fund.

The main objective of the project is to develop a SW tool that automates the staking out of a railway catenary laying. By integrating a series of inputs, different design and simulation engines will be launched, which will obtain the results, among the most important ones, the stakeout (if necessary) and the BOM (Bill of Materials). The Ceit technology center is collaborating in the project.

Within the project, the "Railway" and "Data Analysis and Information Management" groups will work together.
