Grupo Elecnor reinforces corruption prevention with more digital Compliance

Grupo Elecnor continues to advance in the prevention of corruption and bribery through a compliance model integrated into risk management and decision-making. During 2025, the Group strengthened third-party due diligence processes, improved controls in critical areas such as international sanctions and human rights, and updated its integrity and compliance training tools and content.

One of the main advances has been the digitalization of risk management, controls, and action plans. This evolution improves the monitoring of preventive measures and promotes a homogeneous application of the Compliance System across the Group's subsidiaries and organizations.

Digital tools also provide greater traceability to compliance processes. Having structured information on evaluations, controls, and corrective measures facilitates the early detection of deviations, improves response capacity, and allows resources to be concentrated on areas with the highest exposure to corruption risks.

A compliance system extended to the entire value chain

The model is supported by the Code of Ethics and Conduct, the Anti-Corruption Policy, and a Compliance System certified in accordance with UNE-ISO 37001 standards for anti-bribery management, UNE 19601 for criminal compliance, and UNE 19603 for competition law compliance. In addition, there is the Ethics Channel, which allows for confidential or anonymous reporting of potential irregularities and raising queries on integrity and regulatory compliance.

Third-party due diligence plays a significant role in this approach. In an environment with increasingly complex supply chains and business relationships, corruption prevention is not limited to internal procedures. It also requires knowing the partners with whom we collaborate, assessing the risks of each relationship, and establishing proportional controls before and during their development.

This reinforcement coincides with the evolution of international standards, which increasingly emphasize a culture of compliance, management of conflicts of interest, and clear definition of responsibilities in bribery prevention. This consolidates an approach where policies, training, supervision, and governance bodies act in a coordinated manner.

With these actions, Grupo Elecnor is moving towards more digital, preventive compliance extended to the entire value chain. The prevention of corruption is thus integrated into daily operations and contributes to strengthening transparency, trust, and the sustainability of business relationships.
