Elecnor Sistemas and the Port Authority of A Coruña are organizing a pioneering forum on interoperability, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and data management on October 1st
The meeting will be held at the MEGA Museum and will combine presentations, panel discussions, and practical demonstrations aimed at port innovation.
Elecnor Sistemas and the Port Authority of A Coruña will host the first edition of the Interport Summit 2026 next Thursday, October 1, an event conceived as a meeting point for Spanish Port Authorities and Puertos del Estado with the aim of sharing experiences, analyzing trends, and addressing some of the main technological challenges facing the port system.
The event will bring together managers and professionals from the technology, innovation, infrastructure, and operations areas of the Port Authorities in A Coruña to delve into strategic issues such as system interoperability, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence applied to port management, and advanced data integration and exploitation.
Under the motto of technological transformation and port connectivity, Interport Summit 2026 is presented as an opportunity to exchange knowledge, learn about real experiences developed in different organizations, and explore innovative solutions aimed at improving the efficiency, security, and competitiveness of port infrastructures.
The program will include several specialized presentations focused on technological interoperability in port environments, integration between management and control systems, integrated physical security, the application of artificial intelligence to operational efficiency, and the protection of critical infrastructures against cybersecurity threats. In addition, a live proof of concept will be carried out showcasing different use cases related to interoperability in the connected port.
The conference will also feature two panel discussions where representatives from various Port Authorities will present practical cases and share their vision on technological standards, data ecosystems, and the opportunities offered by digitalization to generate added value in the port sector. Speakers include representatives from the ports of A Coruña, Pasaia, Bilbao, Vigo, Huelva, and Barcelona, as well as representatives from Puertos del Estado and Navantia.
In addition to the technical and professional interest of the program, Interport Summit 2026 will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in a unique setting: the MEGA Museum (Mundo Estrella Galicia). Conceived as an immersive and interactive experience, MEGA integrates digital resources, personalized content, and various technological tools that allow visitors to interact with the tour and delve into information according to their interests, making it a venue especially aligned with the themes of innovation and digital transformation that will be the focus of the conference.
