New generation of smart maintenance support systems
The main objective of the project is to develop a smart system to help with the planning and execution of maintenance work, especially for linear facilities.
Elecnor is working on the Genio R&D&i project to develop a computer application for managing and executing maintenance work on linear facilities, such as railway electrification systems. This project has been co-financed by Irekia and using ERDF Funds.
The
main objective of the project is to develop a
smart system to facilitate the planning and execution of maintenance work, especially for linear installations. ANER
and TEKNIKER are collaborating on the project.
The
GENIO project aims to address different challenges that can be classified into
two areas: The
main challenge is to develop an innovative
solution for the management of complex assets. The
second challenge relates to the design of operation-tuned maintenance
management processes (services) in environments such as linear infrastructure,
and based on the management of information associated with processes and
assets.
In order to address current challenges concerning the management of maintenance work, the GENIO project aims to incorporate different improvements associated with artificial intelligence technologies.
