Elecnor Group strengthens its role in port electrification with Endesa’s project in Cádiz

Elecnor Group consolidates its position in the field of port electrification through its participation in the first shore power supply system for cruise ships in Spain, promoted by Endesa at the Port of Cádiz.

The installation allows vessels to connect to the onshore power grid while in port, reducing pollutant emissions and improving environmental quality. This project marks a milestone in the decarbonisation of the maritime sector in Spain.

In this context, Elecnor Group provides operation and maintenance (O&M) services through its maintenance division, strengthening its role in the management and sustainability of this type of energy infrastructure.
