Elecnor drives a pioneering energy efficiency project in Benitatxell

Elecnor has been awarded the energy saving rights generated by the renovation of public lighting in El Poble Nou de Benitatxell, an action that places the municipality among the pioneers in Spain in the application of the Energy Saving Certificates (CAE) system.

Thanks to this model, savings obtained through more efficient lighting can be transformed into new resources for public administration. The initiative makes Benitatxell the first municipality in the province of Alicante to complete this process and reinforces Elecnor's role in promoting innovative solutions that favor energy efficiency and the transition towards a more sustainable model.
