Audeca, a subsidiary of Grupo Elecnor, will maintain 906 kilometers of roads in the north of Burgos for four years
Audeca, a subsidiary of Grupo Elecnor specializing in infrastructure conservation and maintenance and in environmental services, in a joint venture with Señalización y Conservación Castilla, S.L., has been awarded the contract for the maintenance of regional roads located north of the N-120 in the province of Burgos. The contract, formalized by the Ministry of Mobility, Digital Transformation and Artificial Intelligence of the Junta de Castilla y León, represents an investment of 11.75 million euros, taxes included, and will have a duration of four years.
The contract covers just over 906 kilometers of the regional network and aims to guarantee adequate road conditions, safety, and service for users throughout the entire period. This is the lot corresponding to the northern area of the province of Burgos.
Scope of work
The joint venture will be responsible for the permanent surveillance of the 906 kilometers of roads included in the contract, as well as accident response and winter road maintenance operations, a particularly relevant service in the northern area of Burgos due to its weather conditions during the winter months.
The contract also includes the maintenance of road surfaces, drainage systems, signage, road margins, and containment systems, actions aimed at preserving the state of the road heritage and improving road safety in the regional network.
